With the challenges of the international business world becoming more and more demanding, we support companies with our language training programme of small groups and one-on-one lessons.

Our communication-based training focuses on speaking and listening skills to ensure effective verbal communication. This training method requires participants to speak actively from the first lesson onwards.

Needs-oriented and carefully chosen training material with role-plays and practical exercises facilitates the effective and lasting improvement of language skills. In addition to working with the latest textbooks, modern media and a variety of material resources, we continually develop customised student and trainer material for specific clients and individual industries - making sure that your personal learning goals can be met by our training staff.

needs analysis and evaluation

Our small groups of maximum 6 participants are grouped according to language level (based on the Common European Framework, CEF), personality and needs. This is done by means of a personal placement interview with each and every participant – we don’t believe in relying on a multiple choice test.

Each client is looked after by one of our Key Account Managers, who is always available to the contact person in the company when it comes to questions or advice.

EnglishBusiness has been approved as an educational institute of high quality by Weiterbildung Hamburg e.V..* From 2003 to 2006 EnglishBusiness took part in the Flexible Quality Development Programme of the lernende metropolregion hamburg and since then has been actively practicing quality management on the basis of the European Framework for Quality Management (EFQM) model. Active reporting to our clients on progress made and feedback received are an integral part of our work.
