english for logistics

workshop goals

The English communications needs of people working in logistics and supply chain management are extremely specialised and have changed considerably in recent years. The terms and vocabulary required in this field can be especially challenging for non-native English-speakers working in an international business environment.

With a mixture of language and skills exercises, this workshop is targeted at professionals working in the logistics, supply chain management and international transport sectors who are faced with the challenge of understanding, explaining, discussing, reporting on or presenting information in English.

The workshop content is specifically designed to improve logistics-related vocabulary and develop skills for describing and talking about relevant topics in English (see “Content” below). Participation in these workshops requires a minimum of “high B1” (Common European Framework level system) English.

workshop coaches

For maximum relevance the coaches who deliver English for Logistics (ELOG) workshops are all qualified EFL specialists with extensive teaching as well as business experience.
